Fall Break

My fall break was kinda boring. I was still glad to be out of school. For the most part I relaxed my brain and rest over the break. I also hung out with my friends and got a chance to go visit my family members.
My friends and I went to the movies to see quarintine. It was a good movie to go see with someone but was not all that scary to me. I hated the way it ended. Everyone died in the movie. At least one person could have survived. My friends and I still had a great time.
Over the break, I also spent some quality time with my puppy Michelle. I love her to death!! When, I get home, I always go in the back yard and talk to her. As soon as she hears my voice, she runs and jump on me. Then she just falls out in front of me because she wants me to rub her. So, I rub her belly and she wags her tail and licks all over my hands. I try to go outside with her as often as I can so she can always remenber me. Everytime I come home she gets taller and taller. I don't want her to get big on me to fast. She is already getting very strong. When she gets older, I might not be able to go back there with her.
My mom and I got to spent a little time together. She works most of the time so I do not get a chance to see her that often. I wish she did not have to work so she could stay at home with me.
Overall, my break was a good one. I still had fun even tho I was at home alone most of the time.

My Weekend Ahead

I am so excited to be back in my hometown of Jackson, Mississippi this weekend. It's a blessing to be here with my mother. I miss her so much because I haven't seen her in like two weeks. What would I do if I went to school in Texas or somewhere far away where I couldn't come home every weekend? I would probably lose my mind. I'm glad i'm only an hour in a half away from home. If I need anything, I can just ask my mother and she will give it to me.
Another reason why I am exicted to be home is because the Mississippi State Fair in town. I am so ready to go and eat up all of my favorites. I love to eat ice cream , chicken on a stick, fish, lemonade, and candy apples. I am also ready to have a good time with my best friend Ke-anna. When we get together, we always have fun. When we go to the fair, it's like a family reunion. You see all your old friends and everyone you know. That's why this is a event that everyone should attend every year.
I also came home because I miss my church. I work in the nursery with the babies and I haven't been there in like three weeks. I know they miss my help and the kids miss me to too. My life just don't seem right because I haven't been going to church. When I do go, I feel so good inside. It just makes me so happy. Can't wait until Sunday to see my church family and get the word of the lord.
