The dorms

University of Southern Mississippi dorms should be renovated to better accommodate students. We should be able to walk into a place that reminds us if home. Somewhere that is calming and feels like a sanctuary. Things should not be old, raggedy, and worn out. We deserve the best of the best to pursue our academic careers.
For print media, I am going to write a letter to the editor explaining the conditions of the dorms and why they need to be updated. This will get the word out to others and let them know how we feel about our rooms. For visual with words, I will design a floor plan that shows more desirable student living. In this floor plan, there will be a sink in every room. There will also be a bathroom between every two rooms. Four girls will share one bathroom. The rooms will also have carpet and curtains in each of them. For informational, I will hold a petition for my dorm. My dorm mates will sign their names to show everyone that our dorms really need work. For structured, I will write a letter to the president to let her know how we feel about the dorms. This will give her an idea of changing the dorms to fulfill our needs. For my creative writing, I am not sure if I want to write a short story or a poem. If I do a short story, it will be about a girl who hated living on campus her freshman year. If I write a poem, it would probably be about the dorms in general coming from my perspective.
My genre project will be a success indeed. The dorms are a really good topic to speak upon. People will be all ears to know about them and all what’s to come
